REALTORS getting involved and making a difference in your community

The RAYAC Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization that supports Habitat for Humanity and the housing related charities and organizations in York and Adams Counties. Throughout the year, the REALTORS Association of York and Adams Counties (RAYAC) has several charity events throughout the year that benefit the RAYAC Foundation.

Charity Bowlathon and Charity Golf Outing fundraisers:

The current Foundation Board of Directors has adopted a contribution policy- 60% of everything donated goes directly to Habitat for Humanity, 30% for local housing related organizations and 10% for the Robert Murphy Disaster Releif Fund.

The RAYAC foundation has allowed the members of RAYAC to build several Habitat for Humanity houses so that families in the communities can have the dream of homeownership. We have built homes in Spring Grove, Dover, and also helped facilitate the building of homes in Biglerville and Gettysburg.

Habitat for Humanity:

For several years, the Foundation has been donating funds to local housing organization in York and Adams counties. Through our grant application process once a year, we strive to find the greatest needs in housing within our community. To date we have donated to over 15 organizations some of which include the Adams Rescue Mission, American Red Cross, Housing Alliance of York, York Rescue Mission, Crispus Attucks, Hoffman Homes for York, Childrens Home of York, York Area Development Cooperation, and South Central Community Actions Programs. We are so happy to be able to give to these organizations that serve a purpose directly related to housing in our area.
