Pre-Licensing Online Courses
The following courses are available for you:
Pre-Licensing Courses:
To obtain a Pennsylvania real estate license, two courses must be taken, Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practice .
Real Estate Fundamentals provides students with an understanding of the language, principles and laws which govern the real estate business.
Real Estate Practice is designed to acquaint students with the basic techniques, procedures, regulations and ethics involved in a real estate transaction.
While the course content is taken on-line, the exam at the end of each course must be taken at the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties, in York, PA 17404. There are no additional costs for these tests, but pre-registration is required, by calling 717-845-3487. The final exam must be taken within 90 days of completing each course.
Successful completion of the two pre-licensing courses qualifies students to sit for the state licensing examination. The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission has hired PSI to administer the examination. Information regarding the examination is available at www.psiexams.com .
General Information About On-Line Courses
Course Expiration:
All on-line courses must be completed within six months (180 days) of enrollment.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
No refunds will be given once you have registered or purchased an on-line course. Please make sure that you've read all of the necessary information before paying for a course.
System Requirements (the minimum system requirements) are:
- PC with 450 MHz Intel Pentium II processor (or equivalent) and later
- 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM
- Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
- Internet connection (minimum 56Kbps required, although we highly recommend a high speed connection such as DSL, cable, or T1)
- Printer (for course documentation and Student Affidavit)
